5 Of The Best Reasons Why We Come To You!

There are many reasons why travelling to us isn’t the best solution, and a whole host of benefits to us coming to you instead!

Let’s start with the five most obvious reasons we come to you.

1. Convenience

Travelling with a dog can be massively time-consuming and demanding on you. For example, if you’re limited with your time off work, the idea of spending 4 hours in a car there and back, while looking after your pup’s needs, toilet stops etc, may not sound like your idea of fun! I’ve had many clients from places like London or the South coast who’ve thought just that, and taken the option of having me come to them. It means we can focus on ensuring you and your dog remain comfortable and relaxed, without the added stress of travel logistics.

Speaking of stress...

2. Stress

If your dog is anything like mine, they really don’t enjoy travelling, and longer journeys can be stressful for them. It's important to prioritise their well-being. So, let me take that stress away by travelling to you! We can eliminate the need for your dog and you to travel very far…or at all! If you’re blessed with a large outdoor space, field or garden, you may choose to have the photo session in the comfort of your own home!

3. Your Dog's Comfort

Dogs are often more at ease in their familiar environment. So by going somewhere your dog already knows, we can help them feel relaxed and comfortable, creating more natural, captivating and authentic photographs. It can also help to capture their true personality, expressions, and unique behaviours, resulting in more genuine imagery.

4. Sentimental locations

Is there somewhere special that means a lot to you? Going to a location that holds meaning to you or your dog, allows us to incorporate these sentimental spaces into the background of your portraits. These personal places can add an extra layer of meaning and emotional connection to the pictures, making them even more special.

5. Easily distracted?

New location, new distractions! It’s easy for some dogs to become overwhelmed by unfamiliar sounds, smells, or other animals, and this can lead to longer drawn out photo sessions. This isn’t usually a problem, and we always allow for extra time for them to get used to everything, but if you know your dog is particularly obsessive with new sights and smells, it may make more sense to keep to somewhere familiar. By staying in their own environment, or somewhere they know really well, we can minimise these distractions and ensure a focused and successful photography session.

At the end of the day, it's your dog and your photo session, and we want to make it as easy and fun for you as we can. You'll know what's best for you. For most people, spending a day out in the Derbyshire countryside is a great option, but it's not the only option, and for a few of you our UK-Wide Experience package makes perfect sense.
